What a wonderful evening welcoming the newest members of the Faulk Foundation Scholarship Committee! We were happy to bring together our Board members, past scholarship recipients, generous donors, and our WorkTexas partners for an evening focused on community, education, and the impact of investing in students.
Our WorkTexas partners shared an exciting update on the $115,000 donation The Faulk Foundation underwrote in March earlier this year to support the development of a new classroom with welding and HVAC equipment. This equipment provides hands-on training opportunities for more than 500 students each year, helping them develop the skills needed to pursue careers in welding and the skilled trades.
Most of all, we enjoyed getting to know our “new kids on the block” as they join us in our mission to support deserving students through $10,000 scholarships. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helps make these educational opportunities possible and excited for all that’s ahead!
Together, we look forward to continuing to invest in students, education, and the future of our community.
