Carolyn Faulk
Founder & CEO, A&C Plastics, Inc.

Carolyn Faulk is President of Houston based A&C Plastics, a company she started over 40 years ago and has actively led to become one of the nation’s largest distributors of plastic sheet material. Carolyn has received many honors and awards for her accomplishments in the business world, as well as for her numerous philanthropic contributions. She is a lifetime Vice President of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and actively participates in the organization’s fundraising efforts. She also actively supports a number of charitable organizations. She is a member of Second Baptist church in Houston, Texas. Carolyn has two grown children, Katie and Brian.

Katie Faulk Clapp
President, A&C Plastics, Inc.

Katie Clapp is President of A&C Plastics, overseeing virtually all aspects of the company’s business operations. Being the boss’s daughter didn’t help Katie climb the corporate ladder. Katie started working at A&C at a young age, and learned the business from the ground up. Katie is also active in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and is the proud mom of four children with her husband, Jimmy.

Jimmy Clapp
President, CEO of A&M Boat Services

Jimmy Clapp is the President and CEO of A&M Boat Services in Houston, and has over 20 years of experience in the Marine industry. Jimmy is a volunteer and lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He is also a member of Texas Equi Search, an organization that assists police in finding missing persons. Jimmy is an avid fisherman and proud parent.

Randy Allen
Founder, CEO of Ranco Industries

Randy Allen is President of Houston based Ranco Industries Inc. Ranco Industries manufactures compression molded and extrusion-type specialty products for world wide industrial distribution. Randy has a lifetime of involvement in community and charitable organizations that include Rotary International, Masonic & Shrine, and Chambers of Commerce. Randy’s concern for the community extends to social issues as well. He has continued to channel his efforts where he can make a meaningful impact on the efforts of those already striving to make our world a better place to live and work.

Dolly Cart Franklin
Board Member

Dolly is a retired oil and gas employee with many years of service in volunteer work of all kinds. In recent years, she spear headed the work days, set up, and stocking of the new Faulk Foundation warehouse. She is committed to helping the less fortunate and is grateful for this opportunity to do it through this wonderful organization. Her husband, Jerry, helps repair work on items for the warehouse and her daughters Frankie Cox and Brooke Persyn also volunteer at the warehouse.

Jerry Franklin
Board Member

Jerry Franklin was elected to the Faulk Foundation Board of Directors in 2017. He is a Senior Vice President – Wealth Management with Morgan Stanley. In this position he has the opportunity to work with many businesses and civic leaders. These associations, combined with his father’s advice, have helped Jerry develop his view toward philanthropy, that is to “help others help themselves”. He is pleased to join his wife, Dolly, and other Faulk Foundation Board Members in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

Grace Valles
Business Support Manager, A&C Plastics

Grace is the Business Support Manager for A&C Plastics, helping the company to run more efficiently and train new employees in all aspects of the business. Grace is also the Program Director for the Faulk Foundation, helping the Foundation break records serving as many Houstonians as possible. She and her family have big hearts for service, and her daughter and husband regularly attend Faulk Foundation events.

Alfred Anthony Annunziato (Tony)
Board Member

Tony Annunziato is Sole Member of Annunziato Holdings PR LLC, which is a privately held company formed in 2021 and located in San Juan, Puerto Rico as a vehicle to trade and invest personal funds. Tony a supporter of HIGHER UP TEXAS, which is a 501©3 organization that teaches life skills to young adults and guides them to successful futures. Tony is a life-time board member and founder of the Annunziato Family Foundation, which is a privately held and non-profit 501©3 organization.

Ed Mc Mahon
Board Member

In his commitment to the HLS&R, Ed has served on numerous committees becoming an inaugural member of the rodeo’s Poultry Auction Committee.He co-founded the American Art Classic in 1986 an auction that donated funds more than $1 million to the HLS&R and the Edna Gladney Center in Fort Worth. He co-chaired the Western Heritage Sale in 2004, raising funds for student art scholarships. He also well known for his charity work with Citizen’s for Animal Protection, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Texas Children’s Hospital, and the Baylor Research Advocates for Student Scientists just to name a few.

Janice Stacy
Board Member

Janice has known the Faulk family for over 50 years and has been a volunteer with the Faulk Foundation since its inception in 2008. She believes in their policy of supporting the foundation through volunteer contributions where 100% is donated to the foundation.She promotes utilizing “Company Matching Gift Programs,” which she has used, when contributing to the Faulk Foundation. Janice retired as an HR Professional from a major oil company after 37 years and is honored to have been asked to be a member of the Faulk Foundation board. Janice has volunteered with the Buffalo Bayou Partnership since 2007 and enjoys helping people in need and being with people who feel the same way.

Richard Gruen
Board Member

Richard moved to Houston in 1970 after receiving his master’s degree in education from the University of Iowa. He has 50 years as a nonprofit program director and fundraising experience. He is a Life Member of the HLSR and this marks his 26th year as a volunteer on the Speakers Committee. In addition to speaking to business and civic groups about RODEOHOUSTON, he also spends time telling children and adults about the Rodeo as “FLAME” the Rodeo Clown. Community involvement includes membership in the Rotary Club of Houston Heights and the Optimist Club of Downtown Houston. He currently serves on the Board of the Apollo Chamber Players, the Board of the Rotary Club of Houston Heights Charitable Foundation and Board of Trustees of Congregation Emanu El. He is also a Captain for the Astros Foundation Volunteer Corps.
