2023 April: Easter Basket Donations at Cage Elementary

This April, the Faulk Foundation brought smiles to over 100 children at Cage Elementary by donating Easter baskets filled with treats and goodies. Our heartfelt thanks go to our generous donors and dedicated volunteers who made this possible. These Easter baskets not only provided joy but also showed the children that their community cares about them. Join us in continuing to support and uplift our community through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word. Together, we can make a lasting difference.

2023 March: Wrecking Crew Action

In March 2023, the Faulk Foundation’s dedicated Wrecking Crew sorted through all of our donations, enabling us to donate 100 bags of hygiene products to the seniors at the Wesley Community Center. Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors, we provided essential items that will significantly improve the quality of life for these seniors. 2021 Week of Giving

This spring we had an entire week dedicated to helping others! Here’s what we did:

  • New Believers Christian Church received home goods to distribute to 35 home-bound seniors and low income homes.
  • Ladies of Transformation from the House of Restoration picked up donated furniture to help women and children who have left abusive relationships and are starting over.
  • Magnificat House picked up supplies to help the homeless population in Houston.
  • The firefighters of Station 26 received bags of toiletries, blankets, cleaning products, towels, and H-E-B gift cards.

2020 COVID-19 Assistance

The COVID-19 Pandemic has effected many families. With your help, we were able to provide support to several local families in need to assistance. In addition to furniture, household supplies, and toys, a total of 800 dollars in H-E-B gift cards was given to help provide groceries for their families. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to impact our community in a positive way and we thank our volunteers and donors for making this possible!

2020 FACE SHIELD DONATION

With your help, we were able to donate 500 face shields to St Luke’s Children’s Hospital and local nursing homes during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

2020 Ben Taub Neonatal Supplies Donations

This August, we were able to donate necessary infant care supplies to Ben Taub for the Neonatal and ICU units.

Minivan Giveaway Winner!

Pictured above are Randy & Diana who generously donated their minivan back in 2013. Because of their generous donation, we were able to lighten the load of a single mother of three who walked five miles to and from work. Our volunteers and donors are the best!

Keeping Joanna Well

Joanna Devine was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer in March of 2017. Joanna was a loving person and an amazing Faulk Foundation volunteer. As soon as we found out about the diagnoses, the Faulk Foundation jumped into action. We started a Keeping Joanna Well fund and requested donations in order to help cover her household bills for a month or two. Unfortunately, Joanna passed away on June 3, 2017 after a hard fought battle. The Faulk Foundation presented Joanna’s son Calvin, with a check for the donations received in order to cover funeral costs. Joanna left behind a legacy of philanthropy and generosity, touching the hearts of everyone she came into contact with.
